Overview

Informatik xPrint Image Driver creates multipage TIFF and PDF files via the Microsoft XPS Document Writer printer.  Simply open any printable document, select the Print option and select the Microsoft XPS Document Writer as the printer.  A temporary XPS file is created and displayed in the Informatik xPrint window.  Various options allow you to add text annotations and watermarks to all or to selected pages.  With the optional Informatik Markup you can make a variety of markups, such as freehand drawings, lines, arrows, shapes, insert text (even curved text) and graphics, redactions, highlights.  The file can then be saved in various formats, including single-page, multi-page or serialized TIFF or PDF.

Informatik xPrint is written in the latest .NET Framework language.  The only snag is that you need Microsoft's latest .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your PC.  However, sooner or later you will need to upgrade to Framework 3.5.  Framework 3.5 builds on version 3.0 and 2.0, so the incremental file size of the Framework is not substantial; it is just a bother to upgrade because it may take 15 minutes or longer.  To make up for the inconvenience we offer a low introductory license fee for the rest of this year (2008) at only $30.00 per user, or $300.00 for an unlimited site license.
