Infothek Scan boxInfothek Scan is a universal user-interactive a scanning software package compatible with TWAIN compliant scanners. The scanned images are displayed and can be saved as a single or multipage TIFF or PDF file or in many other common graphics formats, including JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP. Barcode Scanning Utilities

We offer three additional barcode utilities. These are free of charge for licenses of Infothek Scan 11.

  • Scan Barcodes (Batch scanning with barcode recognition)
    Files are named after barcodes in the scanned documents.

  • Text Extractor (Data Extraction of scanned documents)
    The utility runs through a batch of documents and reads up to 10 barcodes on each page and creates an XML file with the extracted data. An option is available for OCR recognition of data.

  • File Renaming
    This utility runs through a multipage Tiff file or a folder of files and splits and renames the files according to the values of barcodes in the documents or in separator pages.
